Сюжет:Геній великого Кубріка й не ночував у стрічці, що вона, як може, збиткується над пам’яттю режисера, але базується все ж на дійсних подіях. Якийсь Алан Конвей гарно жив собі у Лондоні, мав на хліб та до нього, тим, що видавав себе за... Стенлі Кубріка. Гумор ситуації в тому, що невігласу, який не бачив жодного з фільмів метра і навіть не знав їх назв, сходу вірили всі: від хлопчиків із гей-клубів до солідних телепродюсерів. Можна було б розгледіти у картині сатиру на шоу-бізнес, якби режисер Браян В. Кук не завершив кіно млявою ідилією. До речі, сам Кубрік, коли почув про афери Конвея, довго реготав.
